Access denied updating
In the first window, click on Users (your computer name-PC\Users) and repeat steps 5-9, of course clicking on Users (your computer name-PC\Users) instead of Administrators (your computer name-PC Administrators). I've seen it on quite a lot of different places ranging from when running a program that creates a folder to save in to unpacking a zip file under my documents. At step 9 i run into some kind of error message when it tries to apply the changes it says something like access denied as well, weirdly enough! Also, I did close One Drive prior to following the above solution (in the lower right notification menu: right click, select exit), as I have read one drive might have something to do with the underlying cause.Camilla, a certified MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), has almost four years technical writing experience. Click on Administrators (your computer name-PC Administrators) again. :)(quick note, cd'd to the root folder and I used wildcards (*.*) instead of the folder name, because when I tried to reset permissions on that directory it told me access denied.
