Silver pond dating
The illustrations are very nice; but I need more story than what is here.
Or at the very least a way to draw all the items together.

I love board books that have a bit Josée Bisaillon is one of my favourite illustrators.
He illustration are beautiful, but a big lack of material in this story...
I liked the idea of where they were going, but found some of the comparisons very odd and so didn't care for it as much.

Reveling in metaphor, The Moon Is a Silver Pond encourages that magical leap of imagination and asks the reader to look at everyday objects from a different perspective.
Watch for the follow-up, The Sun Is a Peach, in spring 2020. I do not understand at all what the comparison is between the moon, a pond, button and pail of milk... There is no context to this children's book and so it feels odd.
It's really just a bunch of random circular items someone wanted to draw, I assume.
Suggestions would be to have the last page sho I am missing the boat on this one.
